Great leisure parks, museums and playgrounds delight the whole family.
To reach the leisure park “Hansa-Park” in Sierksdorf, which is one of the five largest leisure parks in Germany, it takes only 20 minutes by car. Enjoy a great variety of amusement rides for young and old in this amazing leisure park at the seaside.
In the “Wildpark Eekholt” (wildlife park in Eekholt), you can marvel at over 100 species and more than 700 animals in their natural environment. You can get to the park in only 30 minutes by car.
Experience the Wild West of 1870 with Winnetou and Old Shatterhand! Karl May’s Festival in Bad Segeberg offers cracking colts, big explosions and thrilling duels in one of the most beautiful open-air theatres of Europe.
At the “Sealife” aquarium in Timmendorfer Strand, you can discover more than 2,500 animals in over 38 life-like basins and fish tanks. The giant sea turtle is also looking forward to your visit.
Enjoy a beautiful cruise on the lake. The lake cruise “Fünf-Seen-Fahrt” (Five lakes cruise) is particularly popular as well as the cruise on the Great Plön Lake or the fishing trips on the Baltic Sea.
