Even the landscape alone is relaxing: The fresh air, the quiet and tranquility that surrounds the lively activity in the towns and cities. A colorful bouquet of flowers and simply beautiful by nature.
A great deal of importance is attached to art, culture and music in Holstein Switzerland. The numerous palaces and estates give this region a very special flair. There are naturally several leisure and sports opportunities for you to choose from. Whether you hike, bicycle, ride horses, swim, sail, fish or even play tennis or golf.
Augstfelde is, long with Fehmarn, one of the areas in Germany with the smallest amount of rainfall. It rains here far less and much more weakly than other places with an average of only 550 mm of precipitation per year (Hamburg 750 mm, Cologne 1200 mm, Munich 600 mm).
Be careful, there is not just sunshine; otherwise there wouldn't be any green forests and meadows. You can even get by and enjoy these days quite well in Holstein Switzerland. These days are well suited for shopping tours to Hamburg, Kiel, Lübeck or Plön, Eutin, Malente, for tours of museums, zoos, palaces or for visiting leisure parks and water entertainment areas.
For those who are superstitious: You may bring a jacket for rain.
By the way, even when it rains, the site is dry again in a flash due to the dry lawn base.
