Activities in the Surrounding Areas

You can get hints and tips on activities and events at the reception area or from the activities board.
You will find palaces and parks in close proximity, in Plön and Eutin. Surfing and sailing courses are offered at the Plöner Lake.
You can reach the Hansa Park Sierksdorf with its attractions in 20 minutes; the Eekholt nature park can be reached in 30 minutes. Your children will certainly be happy about a visit to Lego Land or one of the water entertainment areas. You can go on excursions to the Karl May performances in Bad Segeberg or to the Schleswig-Holstein music festival.
The Five-Lakes trip, the large Plöner Lake tour or the Baltic Sea fishing trips are also popular. Destinations for day trips: Kiel, Lübeck, Hamburg, the North Sea (e.g. Sylt) and the Baltic Sea (20 minutes).
